So you don't use always a yellowish tone to paint over. How do you chose the main colour of your wash?

I've already seen the finished piece, and I like it very much, just as usual :)

I'm not sure to understand your question very well....
I chose my first color for the ground, the main color to me , to make a cold or warm atmosphere. Here it was cold with a grey purple. I always make my sketches with black and white acrylic diluted...after i add colors, never too much and i like to make a strong contrast with some yellow color in the white tone, it's stronger than a pure white.
I'm happy that you enjoy my work
Thank you very much for your comment and questions too ;-)

Thanks a lot for your answer.
You know for us you are a master and it is very useful to see your WIP.
Once I saw you started a painting with a yellow ocre tones and I thought it was the way you always begin your works.

Thanks again and see you soon.
