:D I draw since i am a baby, i made my first landscape painting when i was 16 years old and my first portrait order when i was 14 years old....now i am 47 years old and i always paint and draw like a crazy. I like to practice fast sketches, i done it a lot when i was a young art student.
We drawn all what we can see very fast. We made nudes in 30 minutes in first...and 15 minutes and 5 minutes and after fast ketches during 1 minute, 30 secondes, 15 secondes to be able to do in the end a fast sketch in 5 secondes...crazy but very good to learn to draw faster and faster and to undersand the depth, perspactive, light and contrast in the same time, very fast. We can't finish and we often drawn with memory, good training.
I was in a famous art school in the north of France, we learnt the light with old Flemish and italian artists.
My favorite artists painter are...in first Edward Hopper (human and cities scenes), Rembrandt and Caravaggio for the light. One of the best for me for the draw is Norman Rockwell....
So....paint like a crazy my dear friend ;) :rose:

Yes this painting is brighter than my last paintings
because it's an order for an old woman by her husband, she prefer the light
and colors, so i chose this very bright photo from Chicago to
friends living in France who visited their family ;)
You see what i mean hahaha :D aaarrrgh my engish is bad :D
Thanks a lot Renata  :rose:
